Hello Dancers & Parents, I am so glad you decided to join me this session for dance class! Next Monday (1/16/12) the community center will be closed for Martin Luther King Day. I am sorry that we started one week before the break but that is just how the scheduling worked out this time. You have paid for 8 classes so you do have a couple of ways to make up next week’s lost class. 1)This class is also offered on another day during the week that you are welcome to come to (assuming it fits into your schedule) Intro to dance 1 – Tuesday’s at 4pm, Intro to dance 2 – Thursday’s at 5pm 2)The other option is a private lesson with me in my small in home studio. Normal cost is $20 an hour for my students but this would be only $5 since it is a make-up. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and I look forward to a great session of dancing. Hello Dancers, My dad is coming out to visit me next week, his flight arrives right in the middle of our class and I need to go pick him up at the airport, so I need to cancel next weeks class. The rest of the week an dmy classes will go as normal so I invite you to come to any of my other level 1 classes that may fit into your schedule as a make-up.Thry ate as follows: Mon 4-4:45pm, Thurs 4-4:45pm, Fri 11-11:45am. Mark your Calendars! When: Friday May 20th 6:30pm Where: Watauga Community Center Gym Dress Rehearsal: Friday May 13th 6:30pm My tutu lady (Yvonne Starnes) is working on your costumes already! Your cost will be $30 for your tutus and any accessories you receive. The base for our costumes is going to be White leotards and white tights for all dancers except level 2 which will be a white leotard and tan tights. White leotards can be hard to find but there are many resources online to find them and a few dance stores in the metroplex. I will publish a list of places and websites on our website www.footworkz.com. I will also have a Footworkz account set up on discount dance supply (www.discdance.com) if ordering online is what you want to do.
